Fantasía queer sobre una mujer que se escapa a un pueblo inhóspito al sur de la costa atlántica argentina en búsqueda de la salvación. La soledad y la desesperación la lleva a un viaje no ordinario hacia su resurrección donde se abre un portal interdimensional donde el tiempo cronológico se desdobla en múltiples dimensiones. Esta leyenda de campo se la conoce como el mito de la Mujer Salvaje. O podría ser el juego fantástico de dos niñas no binarias.

A queer fantasy about a woman who escapes to an inhospitable town south of the Argentine Atlantic coast in search of salvation. Loneliness and despair take her on an unusual journey towards her resurrection where an interdimensional portal opens where chronological time unfolds in multiple dimensions. This country legend is known as the Wild Woman myth. Or it could be the fantastic game of two non-binary girls.

Cuando pensamos en perspectiva sobre nuestra obra audiovisual, el rasgo común que encontramos es la constante búsqueda del límite de la forma, la narración, la comprensión lógica. Sea una performance, cine expandido o videoarte, siempre nos encontramos en un búsqueda hacia lo liminal, paisajes sonoros y visuales que nos lleven a un lugar desconocido, por momentos incómodos, por ratos dulces y todos no ordinarios. La Naturaleza del Misterio busca plasmar el lenguaje del inconsciente, del deja vu, de una meditación guiada, de un viaje astral, de un sueño. Nuestra materia prima era un mito del campo, el de la Mujer Salvaje. Desde el principio nos preguntamos cómo se cuenta un mito? Cómo no degradar algo como una leyenda? La respuesta fue entregarnos a la entelequia random del cine chamánico, como plantea el chamán del cine: Raul Ruiz. Azar, atemporalidad, rodaje-performance, producción no ordinaria, creación colectiva y errática, abrazando la imperfección del no control y aprovechando la magia del paso del tiempo, como podemos ver el crecimiento real de las niñas que actuan en la película, que empiezan como niñas y terminan como pre adolescentes, los FX naturales de crecer. Llevó años hacer la película, atravesamos las inclemencias de cualquier creación que experimenta con la materia viva de la humanidad y la Naturaleza. Y ese fue el otro eje al pensar, hacer y parir el film: La Naturaleza como protagonista, con su infinita resonancia, que nos enseña sobre el eterno círculo de nacer y morir.
Director's Statement
When we think in perspective about our audiovisual work, the common feature we find is the constant search for the limit of form, narration, logical understanding. In all our arte explorations such as performance, expanded cinema or video art, we are always searching for the liminal space, sound and visual landscapes that take us to an unknown place, for uncomfortable moments, for sweet moments and all of them not ordinary. The Nature of the Mystery seeks to capture the language of the unconscious, of deja vu, of a guided meditation, of an astral journey, of a dream. Our raw material was a country myth about the Wild Woman. From the beginning we wonder how to tell a myth? How not to degrade something like a legend? The answer was to surrender to the random entelechy of shamanic cinema proposed by the shaman of cinema: Raul Ruiz. Chance, timelessness, filming-performance, non-ordinary production, collective and erratic creation, embracing the imperfection of non-control and taking advantage of the magic of the passage of time, as we can see the real growth of the girls who act in the film, who begin as girls and end up as pre teens, the natural FX of growing up. It took years to make the film, we went through the harshness of any creation that experiments with the living matter of humanity and Nature. And that was the other axis when thinking, making and giving birth to the film: Nature as the protagonist, with its infinite resonance, which teaches us about the eternal circle of birth and death
